Our Readers' Testimonies

Our newspaper is in Russian, so all our readers send us testimonies in Russian only. We translated one (see below), but the rest of them are in Russian only. If you can read Russian, please visit Testimonies part of the Russian version of our website.

From our Reader...

Greetings, our dear friends in Jesus Christ!

We greet you from the bottom our hearts and wish you a Happy Easter.

Christ has risen! He has risen, indeed!

We always remember you in our prayers. We cannot thank you enough for the “Our Days (Nashi Dni)” newspaper. It is read by many people, including many nonbelievers who learn of God and eternal life through the paper itself. The ministry of this newspaper has been very effective; many people copy its articles, memorize its verses, and use its material for seminars, articles, lessons, etc. Thank you!

Our church has 120 members, a Sunday school, and women’s ministry that was started within the last year. In this ministry, we pray for and help one another in regards to spiritual and physical concerns. Once a month we bring your newspaper and read excerpts that had touched our hearts. The ministry of this newspaper has been a blessing to us. We always remember your kindness, help, love, and care. May God bless you all!

Valentina Kravtsova,
Yaroslavl region, Rybinsk

Photogalleries

Few of us, while taking pictures, think that we are recording our history, save it for those who will come after us. Same was  with the authors of photos presented in our photogalleries. Many of those photos are not in good quality, yellowed by time. But this does not prevent us from seeing the path the newspaper took, and people who quietly and without any claim to fame, did their job.

Please select the photo gallery on the left to view the corresponding pictures.

Statement of Faith

  • The suffering of mankind cannot be alleviated by human means, since the root of all evil is in the nature of man. The human heart is the spiritual center which is naturally sinful, wicked, and does not improve on its own. The one who could become the savior of mankind must have had the ability to regenerate man’s sinful nature, replace it with another one that is perfect and of a higher caliber. No mortal human has this ability.
  • God alone, who is the creator and redeemer of mankind, has the ability to regenerate the heart of man to a new life through a personal and conscious faith in Jesus Christ. Christ is the son of God and the Savior of the world and the individual.
  • An abundant life exists only in Christ. An abundant life is one that is victorious over the animalistic instincts of man and is able to govern over one’s habits, vices, and sins.
  • In Christ exists the unlimited knowledge of the God of love, who is the source of all blessings and the summation of all perfection, which is available only to man on earth.
  • Salvation is only in Christ. He is the answer to all prayers, concerns, and desires of the immortal soul of man.
    • Christ – the only savior!
    • Christ – there exists no higher ideal
    • Christ – there exists no better example to follow.
    • Christ – there isn’t a nobler cause to serve.
  • “God is love.” The love of God is a singular, faithful, and an indestructible foundation, tested by the ages, on which an individual’s personal, familial, and social life must be built.
  • A proper relationship with God is the only way to maintain a true brotherly relationship with others.
  • The Church of Christ is holy not because of its divine origin, nature, and objectives, but because of the holiness of its members.  “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love... According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue…”
  • Only people who have been born again can be members of the church, being “worthy of the fruits of repentance,” sanctified, living lives separated from the world, and openly and boldly confessing Christ before men.
  • The Church of Christ can appreciate the freedom bestowed by Christ as well as sacrificially protect this freedom from all worldly influences, errors, and financial dependence.
  • The Church of Christ stands before modernism (just as the ancient-Apostolic church stood in its time), armed with the claims arising from the immutable world of God, which is designed to meet all the spiritual questions and needs of our generation.

Former and Current Staff Members

There were many of them, well known and unknown children of God, who faithfully did everything they could so the newspaper's subscribers could receive their newspaper and get spiritual food and support every week over years. No one thought to collect information about them, to record someone's biography, to take their pictures. And they themselves did not think something special about their work. As result, only some names and surnames remained in people's memory.

But all their names and their deeds, everything they did to glorify their God and Savior Jesus Christ is written in the book of God.

Our Volunteers

Publishing and sending newspapers to thousands of addresses  cannot be done without assistance of many volunteers. And we have a lot of dedicated people who come to the office every week during years to help us to serve God and people. To list all their names is simply impossible. Someone has already finished his service here on earth and now serves the Lord in heaven. And someone has picked up the their batons and continue God's job.

May the Lord rewards them abundantly for their dedicated and unselfish work!
